Salad bar was low and not refilled quickly. Service was really slow. Steak was fatty and less than average. Lower quality than the last time I was at a Ruby Tuesday's.

Wow, did we ever make a mistake by ignoring previous reviews. The light crowd on a Friday night should have been a clue. This place is poor at best. The salad bar was poorly stocked and not well kept. My wife's steak was over cooked... Twice! Recook took about 20 minutes. Second time she just said it was ok so as not to wait any longer. I had bbq salmon which was pretty good, but after I was asked if I wanted more tea, it never came. Unless you just want to sit at the bar and watch TV, you might want to make a different choice.

We stopped here around eight or so in the evening. We had been on the road for hours trying to get to Dollywood. We had to stop somewhere and we needed it to be good and the service to be great because it was my daughter's birthday. All of the staff was amazing! Our waitress, Blue, made it so special and she was so attentive and sweet. All of our food was terrific, too! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

So my husband and I are avid yelpers. Well, I am anyway and he tags along so he can eat out all the time. We have recently moved back to Lenoir City from the very much alive and Old City Knoxville.... It's hard to find things to do, but we are trying! We received a buy one get one half off coupon for this place in the mail and decided to give it a go. We arrived at 5pm-yes, I like to eat early. The restaurant was clean and well staffed. We sat in the bar area, which has good size TV's but no sound and plush chairs. The bar manager came to greet us, flustered because she says they have been slammed all day. It was empty. But in all fairness, by the time she arrived with our very, very cold beers, ten tables at least had walked in. I ordered salmon with no butter on the veggies with salad bar and I husband ordered a top sirloin steak with beans. The salad bar was stocked and fresh, but the guy behind me sneezed all over the glass cover of the bar, wiped his hand on his pants and continued to pick up the salad utensils and place them back in the food - glad I went before him. No one picked up the utensils to clean them, or replace them. Our food came decently fast and my plate was wrong. The server returned with the correct plate quickly, but this happened a lot all night as we watched the tables pour in and servers/managers running frantic to discern tables food orders. My salmon was good, but nothing to write home about. My husbands steak was cooked correctly, but he spit half or more out because he could not chew through the fat. My veggies were covered in artery killing margarine, and so was my salmon. The under 400 calorie choice - definitely not. We watched as more and more people came in under 30 minutes and the place was slammed. Servers messing up orders, the female bartender had her shirt so low her bra was hanging out, mis matched and unkempt "uniforms," frustrated diners getting wrong food orders and salad bar lines backed up to the door. It doesn't seem very organized here and for the $50 we spent, we could have gone to Flemmings, ordered two $20 steaks, had a beer each and spent near the same amount.

My wife and I have joined friends for dinner at this restaurant before. The food and the service have been good. Not this time! Our friends arrived about 10 minutes ahead of us. They asked the server to bring biscuits so they could munch on them while they waited for us to arrive. They were still waiting for the biscuits when we got there. We looked at the beautiful photos of the various entres, and ordered those that looked particularly good. When the food came, it was a far cry from the photos in the menu. The portions were about half what they should have been. In addition, my wife's dinner was so bad, she couldn't finish it. She just ate a salad. Oh, about the time that we would have been ready to order dessert, the server brought a plate of biscuits. It only took about an hour to get them. Not wanting to make a scene at the restaurant, when I got home I went onto the RT website and submitted my comments online. The next afternoon, I received a call from the restaurant manager. He had not been on duty the night before, and was very disappointed in the poor quality and quantity of our food and the shoddy service that we received. He promised to send me a certificate for the four of us to return so that he could ensure that we had a most enjoyable dining experience. I told him that would be nice. A week later I had not received the promised certificate, so I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager again. He told me that he had spoken with his director about our experience and said that his director had promised to send us the dining certificate. The manager told me that he was greatly disappointed that his director had not provided the promised certificate. He said that he would call his director again and assured me that I would have the certificate within 72 hours. It's now five days later and there's still no sign of the promised certificate. Not only do they not provide good, plentiful food, they tell you whatever they tink you want to hear and then fail to follow through. That's it! I'm done! We will NEVER patronize this or any other Ruby Tuesday again and we'll tell all our friends to do likewise.
